Volodymyr Hroisman, the Prime Minister of Ukraine, spoke at the International Mayors’ Summit in Kyiv. He told about new challenges faced by the heads of the cities and recognized work of the most active mayors. The heads of Mariupol and Zaporizhzhya were among them.
Volodymyr Hroisman stressed that real leaders never complained and did not ask, because they just do. As an example, he pointed out Vadym Boichenko, the Mayor of Mariupol, becauseof his attitude to his work and his city.
Mariupol is a hard and difficult city. He came, clarified the issues andnow he is fully engaged in serious modernization of the city. He almost never asked a single question. Maybe only about procedural things, but he does, tries, defends the rest of them. It is a normal attitude of anymayor
