A medical delegation from Turkey has visited the Cardiovascular Center. They got acquainted with the work of the institution, assessed its equipment.

Director of the Emergency Hospital Serhiy Orleansky said that earlier there was no cardiovascular direction in Mariupol. This means that there was no way to save many Mariupol residents who needed emergency help for heart disease.

‘We have opened this center, where all conditions have been created for the work of doctors and the treatment of patients. There is a result today - the mortality rate from cardiovascular diseases has halved,’ Serhiy Orleansky noted.

Representatives from Turkey were shown comfortable wards and a modern operating room. We were introduced to the angiograph, which is used to carry out about 600 operations per year.

It is worth noting that at the end of last week, representatives of a group of clinics from Turkey arrived in Mariupol. The purpose of the visit is to study the experience of the city in the development of medical services.
