The section of Budivelnykiv Avenue from Myra Avenue to Mytropolytska Street is blocked now due to repair works of the roadbed. The curb stone was already replaced and old covering was cut off. The new asphalt covering will be laid within a week under favourable weather conditions.
Major repairs will cover two kilometers of road on Budivelnykiv Avenue - from Myra Avenue to Shevchenko Boulevard. The works are divided into two stages - first part of repair is up to Mytropolytska Street, next part of repair is up to the Shevchenko Boulevard. The time of performance of each stage is one week, under the appropriate weather conditions.
“The traffic is blocked to ensure safety of Mariupol residents and transport. The rotary hoes and road roller are working here, so asphalt chips may be released from these mechanisms”, - Vasyl Klat, the Director of the Transport and Communications Department, said.
The contracting organization brought its own equipment to Mariupol. There are rotary hoes, road rollers and multifunctional machinery.
