The Chairman of the Donetsk Regional State Administration Pavlo Kyrylenko has paid a visit to Mariupol. He visited the objects of medical construction facility. The regional hospital of intense treatment was among them. That is a huge project after the completion of which there will be new opportunities in the treatment.
According to the chief physician Olha Holubchenko, three projects have been completed in the hospital. Namely, the creation of the accident and emergency department with the addition to structure for MRI system, major repair works of anesthesiology department and operation unit and thermal modernization of the building. These projects have been realized during 2,5 years. Besides, high professional medical equipment has been purchased. The project is completely financed by the regional budget.
New departments and high class equipment have been checked by the Governor and the Mayor, in addition, the accident and emergency department is the first not only in Mariupol but in the region. The areas are located in such a way to bring the patients quickly not losing any minute to provide professional medical care. The regional telemedical health center is created in the hospital of regional level where the conferences can be held and the colleagues may exchange their experience.
The Mayor and the Chairman of Donetsk civil-military administration appreciated the changes that have been done in the hospital. It is worth noting that the next project of the establishment will become the major repairs of indoor premises ad wards. This will provide comfortable conditions for patients and work of medical staff. Besides, it is planned to improve the territory having created a cosy medical city.
