The festive concert for 503 soldiers of the separate squadron of Marine Corps was prepared on the occasion of the Marine Corps Day of Ukraine. Oleksandr Holtvenko, the First Deputy Mayor, greeted the audience with a holiday and handed over a gift - TV - to the military commanders.
“The marines are honor and valor of our people today. You are the ones who defend not only Mariupol, but the whole country. Especially Mariupol citizens know how important your service is. Thanks to you we all feel safe”, - Oleksandr Holtvenko said.
The best soldiers were handed over the certificates of the City Council. In his turn, Vadym Sukharevsky, the battalion commander, thanked Oleksandr Holtvenko, Stepan Mahsma, the Secretary of the City Council, and Hrihoriy Berezun, the Head of the Department for Security, Anti-corruption, Defense and Mobilization and Internal Politics, for their not indifferent attitude to the squadron.
