‘We are developing a new Strategy until 2030. It aims to create new opportunities and build a new economy. We move from an industrial city to a post-industrial one. In particular, large-scale work on the construction of a water treatment plant is underway. Funds from France were attracted for this project. It is planned to reveal the tourist potential of Mariupol and to renovate the embankments, create new infrastructure facilities’, Ksenia Sukhova stressed.

Deputy Mayor Serhii Orlov acquainted the audience with the key projects that were implemented in 2016-2020. The construction of Centers of administrative services, reconstruction of parks and squares, opening of IT-hubs, transport upgrades and overloading of utilities are among them.

‘You attract investment in education. We saw several schools and it's cool and decent. We also strive to keep young people in the countryside, because we have a staff shortage. So your experience is important to us,’ the deputy of Beryslav district council Lyubov Globa said.
