Mariupol school number 47 has changed beyond recognition. A large-scale reconstruction breathed new life into the educational institution. Vadim Boichenko checked the preparation of the institution for the new school year.
The work on the reconstruction of the school began in April last year. Over UAH 18 million from the state budget and 44.5 million from the city budget were allocated for their implementation. The school has changed dramatically. Energy-saving measures were carried out in the building: windows were replaced, insulation was carried out, the roof was repaired and all networks were replaced.
The school is fully prepared for the new school year. There are new and modern classrooms equipped with projectors and computers. Modern chemistry kits, mock-ups and visual materials were purchased in the rooms of chemistry and biology. For first graders there is some new furniture, individual lockers and play areas. Now the pupils will be able to engage in physical education on a new surface. And in the act - to watch educational films.
Deputy Mayor Alexander Kochurin showed the Mayor changes in the dining room. It has modern automatic equipment. It is made as the multicooker and allows you to do without using a stove. At the same time, employees will practically not touch the products.
One of the main advantages of the school is a unique sports ground worth UAH 16.5 million. Now there are repairs. Mini-soccer field, multi-purpose universal playground, volleyball court, 100-meter treadmill with rubber coating. All of this will be fully ready by mid-September.
Director Nina Vorobei emphasized that the branch plans to work at the Meotida Sports School as a branch. Vadim Boichenko noted that such an infrastructure will inspire children to play sports and it opens up new opportunities for students.
