Today, the chairman of the Donetsk regional state administration Pavel Kirilenko and Mayor Vadym Boichenko have visited objects that change Mariupol. In particular, they got acquainted with the work of the updated school No. 47 and also inspected the progress of major repairs at school № 26. It will become a reference in Primorsky district.

School № 47 received a ‘new life’ in September last year. After a large-scale reconstruction, the educational institution has been changed dramatically. Renovated classes are filled with interactive equipment and modern furniture. Sports halls and assembly halls as well as a dining room are improved. The guests were shown an interactive panel and a digital microscope. There is a unique linguophonic equipment in the class of foreign languages.

‘Our task is to create the necessary infrastructure for our youth. Today it is the most technological school in our city. All the conditions for the comprehensive development of children are created here,’
Vadym Boichenko stressed.

A special pride of the school is a dining room with modern German equipment. It allows you to cook food quickly and minimizes the human labor.

The territory of the institution was improved. They built a unique sports ground with football and basketball fields, a multifunctional universal, volleyball courts and a treadmill.

‘Our platform is open to everyone and has become a real place for meetings and communication,’ the school principal Nina Vorobey said.

School № 47 is the support and methodological center of Kalmiusskiy district. Soon, school № 26 will become the same renewed center in the Primorsky district. About 800 children study in it.

Since November last year, the overhaul of the facility began. It has not been carried out since the construction of the building in 1963. The head of PU ‘Capital Construction Department’ Galina Sheychenko said that during this time they managed to complete dismantling work and replace window units.

Now they are conducting thermal modernization of the building and changing utilities. In the spring, they will begin to warm the facade. They will also create a modern sports complex. The estimated cost of work is more than UAH 95 million. Financing comes from city and state budgets.

According to Vadym Boichenko, the main goal is to make high-quality repairs so that school № 26 becomes the educational center of the Primorsky district. She will get a new look. A modern infrastructure will be created; classes will be filled with information equipment.

Pavel Kirilenko noted that the regional administration sees the result and is ready to help in the development of the city.

‘We see that the city is devoting all its efforts to the implementation of projects. We approach cooperation conceptually. We analyze the needs that exist and get involved in the work,’ the head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration said.
