In 2018, UAH 35 million were allocated for the purchase of 68 flats for social housing for new Mariupol residents. At the moment, 690 families are registered. Svetlana Shtenda, director of the asset management department, told the executive committee about this at the meeting.

Mayor Vadim Boichenko noted that this program enjoys the confidence of citizens.

‘We have given people hope. The hope that they are not abandoned and needed here in Mariupol. The lists for the provision of housing - employees of law enforcement agencies, medicine and education. They came to Mariupol to find Ukraine, to gain faith in the future. And we did everything that depends on us to make this possible,’
the Mayor noted.

During the meeting, members of the executive committee approved projects - solutions for the provision of housing to displaced persons. They also considered issues of improving the living conditions of Mariupol residents based on their personal requests in difficult life circumstances.

One of the unique cases was the inclusion of a two-room flat donated to the Main Directorate of the National Guard of Ukraine to the number of service housing areas. Thus, the Ukrainians expressed gratitude to the defenders of our country.
