A meeting of the executive committee has been held in Mariupol. In total, about 70 issues were considered. Among them there are infrastructure projects for the modernization of educational, cultural and embankment institutions in the Left Bank district. The members of the executive committee also voted in favor of the decision to allocate two vehicles to family-type orphanages. Ford Transit cars were purchased by co-financing - 50% x50%. The share of responsibility was shared by local and regional budgets.

According to Mayor Vadym Boichenko, despite emergency measures in connection with the pandemic, it was possible to balance the local budget and optimally distribute areas of funding.

‘We supported medicine and developed the Neat City program. The local program, despite the general crisis and a number of shortfalls in the budget, is designed to be a boost to economic development. More than 350 additional jobs have already been created in the city. All our key reconstruction projects are also being implemented. In any strategy, the key is balance. Today we see the results of efficient distribution of finances to the most relevant areas for Mariupol,’
the Mayor stressed.

The members of the executive committee supported the draft decision on the approval of working projects for the reconstruction of schools №40, №20, Mariupol Technological Lyceum and Kindergarten №59. The arrangement of sports grounds at schools №67 and № 4 were approved. These projects are designed to increase the energy efficiency of institutions, to make the area modern and functional.

Several other draft decisions supported the construction of outdoor lighting networks on Makar Mazay Street, the overhaul of the Ukrainian House recreation center, the construction of the pumping station №3 and the sewerage network of the coastal recreation area in Vinogradna Street.
