At a meeting of the executive committee, the working projects of the upcoming reconstructions have been approved. Among them there is the construction of a residential building, the modernization of the street lighting system, the gasification of the village, the reconstruction of the Rowing base of the Athletic Youth Sports School and others.

According to Mayor Vadym Boichenko, these projects are designed to solve pressing problems on the path of the degeneration of the city of Mariupol.

‘Modernization of street lighting will not only provide high-quality infrastructural conditions, but will also become a guarantee of substantial communal savings. The construction of a residential building is a new opportunity for the development of the construction industry. Planned replacement of communications and gasification is not only a way to optimize costs, but also prospects for further growth,’
the Mayor stressed.

The working draft for the construction of a residential building on 24 Stroiteley Ave., provides the dismantling of the existing building. Estimated cost of the project is over UAH 2 million. They plan to equip modern LED-lighting along Makara Mazaya Street, on the section from Zeleny Lane to Kalchik Street and along 7th passage. These projects are initiated by the residents themselves. Gasification of the village of Novo-Bronevy provides for the construction of a street gas pipeline to residential buildings along Modelnaya, Tokarnaya, Krasnaya, Vysokovoltnaya, Udarnaya and Krasny lane.

‘For each project we are trying to attract state, regional and international funding. The reconstruction project of the Athletic School for Children and Youth Sports is now being actively developed to attract state funding. Overhaul of 26 schools is already under the patronage of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky as part of the Big Construction project,’
the Mayor summed up.
