During the session of the city council, representatives of law enforcement agencies and the municipality have been awarded with honorary awards on the occasion of the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Day of Local Self-Government. In addition, Mariupol volunteers were greeted on Volunteer Day.
“Volunteers are people who have dedicated their lives to helping others. Mariupol knows the value of volunteering. They were the first to come to the rescue when the city was crushed by blows. And our defenders became a reliable shield that withstood any blows and defended Mariupol and our large community. I also want to congratulate my colleagues on the upcoming Local Government Day. All the changes that are taking place in Mariupol, all the construction sites, new parks, roads, renovated schools and hospitals, all this is the result of the work of our well-coordinated team of the municipality," Mayor Vadym Boichenko said.
Mariupol residents were awarded with diplomas and certificates, as well as memorable gifts.
