Every day about 200 units of public transport go to the line in Mariupol. According to the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, all quarantine restrictions are observed. Every day municipal transport is sanitized. These measures help reduce the risk of spreading infections.
‘The disinfestation is carried out in a complex several times a day. Besides, under quarantine conditions, the key is the mask mode while waiting for transport and during the entire trip. Its observance on the ground is checked by mobile groups of the Department of Transport and Communications,’ Deputy Mayor Serhiy Zakharov said.
To carry out increased safety measures, additional disinfection is carried out at night, when the vehicle enters the depot. Before entering the line, the transport undergoes full processing. During the day, the employees of the enterprise handle the seats, special attention is paid to the places where passengers' hands touch - the handrails of trams, trolley buses and buses. The airing of the salons is carried out periodically.
Special disinfectants are used that are safe for passengers and agreed according to the State Consumer Service.
