A laboratory of microelectronics and robotics has been opened at Priazov State University. The project was implemented with the support of USAID, within the framework of the Economic Support to Eastern Ukraine project. The room was equipped with modern LEGO equipment. In addition, this year the recruitment of students for the new specialty “Design of electric vehicles” begins.

‘The modern world makes new demands on youth. To graduate a high-level specialist, it is necessary to modernize educational institutions. PSTU creates opportunities on this path, opening up new specialties and areas,’ Deputy Mayor Serhii Zakharov said.

USAID representatives stressed that cooperation with Mariupol is continued. The plans are to expand the functionality and premises of the laboratory.

Schoolchildren will also be able to attend special classes. They will gain basic knowledge of robotics and will be able to create their own projects.
