‘Mariupolteploset’ public utility continues the realization of complex plan to raise the security of service and operational efficiency of the enterprise. UAH 55 mln have been allocated to realize these events from the city budget this year. City Mayor Vadym Boichenko got acquainted with one of the modernizations- the reconstruction of heat boiler station in 1 Gazovaya Str.
This project will reduce the amount of natural gas required for the operation of the boiler room. 4 energy-efficient burners of the SPA-76 type will be put into operation, instead of 12 obsolete ones. They plan to complete the repair by the end of 2020. The project cost is about UAH 13.7 million and the planned savings after the implementation of modernization will be 4.3 million per year.
According to the director of the PU Mariupolteploset Dmytro Myroshnychenko, in total this year over UAH 110 million from the enterprise’s operating funds and about 55 million investment are provided for reconstruction and preparation for the heating season.
Direct investments will become the basis of energy-efficient modernization and bring boiler rooms to standard performance indicators. This will free up additional funds and reinvest them in further development.
The city is collaborating with the American company NEFCO to find the best solution to this issue. The investment program itself was divided into 4 large blocks. The first stage is the replacement of boilers and the reconstruction of boiler rooms, the second is the modernization of pumping equipment, as well as the construction of an efficient energy metering system and the reconstruction of networks.
The plans for this year are the reconstruction of the boiler room at 188 Nakhimova Ave., the acquisition of 48 pumps and 53 heat exchangers. The implementation of these measures optimizes the costs of the enterprise by UAH 10 million. It is also planned to introduce an adapted system of commercial fiscal metering of electricity at 8 boiler houses. An automated system of commercial electricity metering and replacing existing lighting with energy-efficient lighting will save the company about 1.2 million per year.
