More than 4.2 thousand flowers, 1.8 thousand bushes and 333 trees - these are the results of the work of the communal enterprise “Zelenstroy” for the last year. Director Serhiy Kesarev told about it.
‘In 2016, a large-scale reconstruction of six objects was carried out. Park “Veselka”, a square near the Center of Administrative Services, Central Square, Greek Square, Svoboda Square, barbecue area in Hurov Park- they all received updates. In 2021, we continue the reconstruction of Hurov Park with an area of 45 hectares, where the natural zone will be preserved and more than 800 trees will be planted,’ Serhiy Kesarev said.
The enterprise managed to acquire more than 70 pieces of equipment. Among them, trucks with a tipper platform, car lifts and brush cutters. This made it possible to increase not only the mechanization of processes by almost 70%, but also the volume of work.
‘Our task is to mechanize the enterprise as much as possible in order to minimize the share of human labor. The residents of Mariupol themselves give the assessment to the company. They note that the city has become cleaner and tidier. Both parks and squares are the main places of having a comfortable rest. I am grateful to the team for this work,’ Mayor Vadym Boichenko said.
