A new bus route №14A has started operating today in Mariupol, it runs from the bus station "Yuzhnaya" to Mirny township. It will be served by 8 buses. The length of the route is 21.4 km. The hours - 5:08 to 22:15. Mayor Vadym Boichenko checked the launch of the new route and also talked to the employees of Mariupol tram and trolley-bus administration.
"It simply came to our notice then. We fulfill their requests. We create comfortable conditions for passengers, drivers and conductors. The route will connect two extreme points of the city. Increase the availability of important social facilities. We are not just solving current problems, we are forming a new transport model, making Mariupol a city without borders”,
- Vadym Boichenko noted.
It is worth noting that from 2016 to 2020, 93 buses and 60 trams were purchased. The delivery of the last batch of 72 trolleybuses is planned for the fall. Their total number will be 96 units. EUR 30.5 million of investments of international partners were directed to these purposes. EUR 18 million are allocated by the EBRD, EUR 12.5 million - IFC. After the implementation of projects by the end of 2020, the park of “Mariupol tram and trolley bus administration” PU will have 263 units of transport.
