More than UAH 2 billion will be directed to the implementation of the "City without borders" program. This will upgrade the infrastructure in 37 settlements and microdistricts. The new opportunities that residents of remote microdistricts will receive were discussed on the Day of the Deputy.
“Today we see how effectively multi-apartment buildings are developing due to the HOA Support Program. Residents of remote microdistricts and settlements will receive the same development. Residents have set priorities on their own and we will help to solve them,” mayor Vadym Boichenko.
It should be noted that the district administrations conducted a sociological survey in 2021. Based on its results, 7 directions of the program were identified. These are asphalting (and repair of sidewalks), street lighting, affordable medicine, updated recreation areas, comfortable education, gasification and central sewerage.
“40% of the inhabitants of Mariupol community live in the private sector. Most are in remote areas and towns. The City Without Borders program will create a new quality of life for them. By 2030, we will have allocated over UAH 2 billion to this program. All improvements will concern 222,000 people,” Ihor Babek, director of the Department for Management of Enterprises for Improvement.
For eight years, it is planned to solve the issues of concern to residents for 100%, to pave 745 streets, illuminate 289 streets, install more than 4,000 light points, open 11 outpatient clinics and communal pharmacies and 4 dental surgeries, improve 32 parks and squares, repair bathrooms, replace windows, renovate sports areas, catering units in 41 educational institutions as well as gasify 77 streets and install sewerage on 284 streets.
