In the Cheryomushki microdistrict, the overhaul of a family outpatient clinic on the basis of the Center for Primary Health Care No. 4 has been completed. Comfortable conditions for patients and doctors have been created here. The key is that residents received high-quality medical care near their homes. Mayor Vadym Boichenko appreciated the renovated building.
“Our key task is to make medical care within walking distance for everyone. We create and will create such outpatient clinics in every microdistrict and village. These are modern centers where adults and children can quickly receive all the necessary primary care ",
- Vadym Boichenko stressed.
On the ground floor there is a children's dispensary, on the second - an adult one. In the building built in 1976, the internal premises, bathrooms with access for people with disabilities were renovated. Instead of dark corridors with gray walls, there are light reception rooms, bright design, a children's area and comfortable waiting areas. The building has a new fire-prevention system with alerts in three languages: Ukrainian, Russian and English. A special feature of the outpatient clinic is two different entrances for children and adults so that they do not intersect. In addition, there is an office with a separate entrance for patients with fever and those wishing to be tested for coronavirus.
“10 thousand people will be served in the outpatient clinic, 3 thousand of them are children. That is why it is so important for us to keep our children safe. Different entrances will create a new level of safety for our patients”, Natalya Saplina, head physician of the Primary Healthcare Center # 4, expressed confidence.
On the adjacent territory, a playground was equipped and a parking was created. Besides, a communal pharmacy will be opened in the medical facility so that residents can purchase the necessary medicines at affordable prices. The renewed outpatient clinic will be able to admit its first patients as early as Monday.
The total amount of the project is about UAH 15.8 million. About UAH 10.3 million were allocated for repair work and equipping with inventory. In addition, at the expense of the Ukrainian Social Investment Fund, the facade of the building was insulated for UAH 5.5 million.
