In Mariupol, war veterans on the territory of other states have been honored. In the morning, Mayor Vadim Boichenko met with veterans and families of the dead soldiers-internationalists. They shared urgent issues and enlisted the support of the mayor in their decision.

‘Today is not measured by ammunition, machine guns, orders or medals. This war is measured by human destinies and tragedies. Each of you has its own special story and its own tragedy. Someone lost a friend, someone a son. But it is important that we always remember this and do not forget,’
Vadim Boichenko noted.

The Mayor stressed that the city authorities are making every effort to solve the problems of the internationalist warriors and their families. He spoke about social programs implemented in the city. In particular, ‘Mariupol cares about you’ program. Vadim Boichenko also focused on the construction of social housing.

In turn, the representatives of the veteran activists appreciated the city authorities for their support and assistance. They talked about the problems that worry them the most. The Mayor instructed the core departments to take all the issues under control.
