For a second straight day the delegation from Mariupol has been working in Izmir. Today Vadim Boichenko has met with Mahmoud Ozgener, the head of the board of Chamber of Commerce of Turkish city.
During the meeting, the parties talked about the possibility of cooperation. The mayor invited Turkish businessmen to Mariupol to see our city and the opportunities for business development.
While having the negotiations, the Turkish side expressed an interest in the areas of cooperation in the assembly of electric buses, the production of elevators and communal equipment.
Also today within the framework of the visit to Izmir, the delegation from Mariupol will get acquainted with the work of the city’s transport system. Vadim Boichenko with profile managers will visit the depot for trams, metro and buses and a traffic control center.
‘The development of the transport system is very important for us,’ Vadim Boichenko, the Mayor of Mariupol, said. ‘We have a strategy for the development of municipal transport and there is a clear plan. This year we put an end to the replacement of emergency transport. Next year - we will make a step to the development’.
