The first deputy mayor Mikhail Kogut has said that the rumors about stop of water supply in Mariupol are not true. All the enterprises of the city work in a regular mode. The issue of power supply of ‘The Water of Donbass Company’ enterprise is under the control of the head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration Oleksandr Kuts.
To date, an appeal has been sent to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine about the need to resolve this situation at the Government level. Mikhail Kohut noted that Mariupol works in a regular mode in all directions. Today, the city, as before, continues to receive 70% of water from the South Donbass water conduit. Mariupol also carries out systematic work in order to resolve the issue with an alternative source of water supply.
‘I urge Mariupol citizens to trust official sources of information. Do not panic. Rumors about the stop of water supply in Mariupol do not correspond to reality,’ the first deputy mayor said.
