The pupils of the secondary school 52 set up a fairy tale ‘The Wolf and the Seven Little Kids in a New Way’. In such an unusual way, the employees of the school decided to talk with children about the problem of kidnapping.
Schoolchildren played out a new interpretation of the well-known fairy tale on the stage. During the performance, the kids, not listening to their mother's advice, left the house and agreed to go with the wolf. As a result, they became his hostages. It was possible to rescue the kids in time when the police came.
According to the psychologist of secondary school No. 52, Yulia Kovaleva, the idea of raising the problem of the abduction of children belonged to parents from the public organization ‘Family Circle’.
‘They came to us and we decided how to do it best of all. Thus, we decided to spend it all in the form of a game’, she said.
The director of the system of social services centers for children, families and young people of Mariupol City Council, Nadezhda Astanina, thanked the children for the interesting presentation and the opportunity to talk about a certain problem in suchj way.
The head of the juvenile prevention of the General Directorate of the National Police in the Donetsk region, Ekaterina Schneider, noted that there have been no cases of kidnapping in Mariupol.
‘We have only cases when teenage children leave home themselves. But within an hour we search for all the children and return them to their parents,’ she said.
