In the mode of teleconference Kyiv-Mariupol, an educational seminar on the topic ‘Introduction of the newest technologies for the diagnosis and treatment of gastroenterological diseases in pediatrics’ was held. The event was held with the support of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, ‘Association of Pediatric Gastroenterologists and Nutritionists of Ukraine’ public organization, the health departments of Donetsk region and Mariupol.
During the teleconference, Svetlana Dolmatova, a Chief Specialist of the Health Department of the Donetsk Regional State Administration and Svetlana Makarova, Director of the Health Department of Mariupol City Council, emphasized that the pathology of the digestive organs is among the five most frequently reported diseases among children. Therefore, the issue of operative diagnosis and treatment is one of the most urgent and important.
It should be noted that thirty doctors of various specialties raised the level of qualification on the introduction of European protocols for the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the digestive parts of the body among children.
