The schools are ready to the work in the conditions of adaptive quarantine in Mariupol. About 5 UAH mln have been spent for provision of the mode from the city council. Automatic thermoscanners, no contact thermometers, individual protective means, disinfectants and soft soap have been purchased. All of this will be delivered to the educational establishments of the city during several days.

Now the information brochure stand with the rules of behavior and recommendations during the quarantine will be located at the entrance of the school. A special carpet with antiseptic liquid will be located at the front doorstep. Both children and teachers are required to enter school only wearing masks, after temperature screening. But during the lessons, students will be able to take them off. On the recommendation of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, primary school students are allowed to move around the school without masks.

City Mayor Vadym Boichenko checked the quality of purchased materials and one of the non contact terminals of temperature measuring. The last one has been installed at school №10.

“These are new living conditions for us. We must understand all changes to counteract and defeat this infection. Our main task is to protect the life and health of our children. And we, from our own experience, were convinced that these measures bring a positive result,”
the Mayor Vadym Boichenko said.

Automatic thermal scanners will be installed at schools by the end of September. Mariupol was the first to buy them in Ukraine. Non-contact disinfectants will be installed next to them. All premises will be regularly processed by Septomax. A self-adhesive dividing tape was also purchased. The distance and rules of movement in the institution will be marked on the floor for her.

It is worth noting that work on equipping kindergartens, out-of-school institutions and inclusive resource centers is being continued. From August to December, more than UAH 16 million is planned to be spent from the city budget.
