Parks and squares are landscaped in Mariupol: pruning of trees is carried out, the green zone is cleared, flowers are planted, benches and monuments are repaired. 11 parks with the launch of fountains and attractions will open the season on April 27.
This was told by the head of the communal enterprise of green construction Piotr Cheker. According to him, the readiness of parks is 98%.
For example, the preparation of the City Garden has been going on since winter. Over 1000 trees were pruned and planted. The benches and monuments are repaired, they are being painted now. A fountain is also being prepared, green areas are being cleaned.
‘Veselka’ park is going to meet visitors after the reconstruction and hit the beauty of flower beds. In the Theater Square, adjustment work is underway to launch the musical fountain. A set of activities for the preparation of green areas is held in Greek Square. Video surveillance is going to be installed in all the parks.
In addition, there will be a mass planting of flowers and arrangement of flowerbeds at various sites of the city.
