All medical personnel, who is currently working with the patients with COVID 19, has all necessary things for protection up to the end of the current year. It was told by the deputy mayor Ksenia Sukhova.
“We are observing the incidence rate of coronavirus in the city now. The protection of medical workers is in the center of our attention. Every day we get the supplies of personal protection equipment into three field-oriented hospitals of the city. All the medical establishments are completely supplied with the protective gears up to the end of the year”, she stressed.
Ksenia Sukhova added that the important issue is the control of distribution of all necessary protective gears by the medical workers. According to the director of Mariupol city emergency hospital Serhiy Orleansky, there are no problems with protective gears. There are waterproof uniforms, masks, gloves and glasses.
“All the personnel is protected. Coming from one ward to another one is followed by cleaning of the clothes. Over 80 items of protective gears are needed to be changed every day”, the doctor stressed.
