During the plenary session, Mayor Vadym Boichenko has presented Mariupol doctors with orders, diplomas and "books of respect" of the national award "Pride of the Nation". The Ukrainians who evoke admiration and pride with their heroic deeds, sincere souls and their position in life are awarded every year.
"These people are the pride of Mariupol. They save our lives and guard our health. Especially now, at this difficult time”, Vadym Boichenko said.
The awards were presented to the director of the Mariupol city maternity hospital Lyudmila Grigor, the chief physician of Mariupo center for maternal and child health Natalia Sidrenko and the head of the maternity ward Sergei Sverkunov.
In addition, the staff of the neurological department of the city hospital №4 was awarded a platinum award from the European Stroke Association "For significant achievements in the treatment of stroke and thrombolytic therapy”.
