Today, at the session of the city council, amendments and additions to the budget of Mariupol for 2021 have been approved. The draft decision provides for revenues in the amount of UAH 4.7 billion. Expenses will amount to UAH 5.2 billion. They will be aimed at the development of social facilities, housing and transport.
Director of the Finance Department Yekateryna Kalenik said that the key area of spending is the development of social sectors. In particular, UAH 45 million will be used to raise wages for employees of budgetary institutions. The kindergartens, museums, music and art schools and other institutions of the social and cultural spheres are among them.
The funds will also be used to overhaul educational institutions, city hospital No. 4, sports facilities and the construction of sports grounds.
The money will be allocated separately for the development of construction and transport. In particular, in support of condominiums - UAH 12 million. The same amount will be spent on the construction of the Embankment in the Left Bank District. Besides, expenses will include: overhaul of the road network and sidewalks, utilities and the installation of traffic lights.
