Mariupol deputies have joined the appeal to support the efforts of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky to resolve the security situation. The document, during the extraordinary XVI session, was read by the chairman of the parliamentary faction "Sluha narodu" Olexander Khalyavinsky.
“Both our government and leading world leaders are making every effort to resolve the situation through political and diplomatic means. This is evidenced by the dozens of negotiations at the highest level that have taken place over the past few weeks,” the deputy noted.
In the appeal, all political forces call for unity, consolidation of efforts in order to jointly resist pressure, not to undermine the political situation within the country, and also not to spread panic, rumors and Russian propaganda, not to succumb to information and psychological attacks.
“We ask everyone who has such an opportunity and relevant experience to support the territorial defense units and contribute to their development as much as possible. At the same time, citizens must continue to work, not change their normal way of life - this will ensure normal economic activity, and hence the ability of the Armed Forces to defend Ukraine as needed and for as long as needed," is said in the document .
