The final conference of the contest “Best practices of local government” is held in Kiev. Mariupol City Council was awarded with a diploma of the second place in "Safe City" project. The award was received by Grigory Berezun, the Director of the Department for Security and Prevention of Corruption.
The aim of the competition was to select and disseminate the best practices developed and implemented by local governments. Mariupol City Council participated in the competition with the topic “Formation of a safe living environment”.
The contest "Best Practices of Local Government" was organized by the Ministry of Regional Development, Construction and Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine in conjunction with the Council of European Program "Decentralization and Reform of Local Government in Ukraine".
