Today in Kiev, the results of the III All-Ukrainian professional premium of the electronic trading market from ZAKUPKI.KRASHCHI-2019 have been summed up. It was marked as the best in the system. Among the nominees of the competition there is Mariupol City Council, which was presented in the nomination ‘The best results’ in the category ‘The most sociable customer who actively cooperates with the market’.
In total, there are four nominations in the competition: ‘The Best Results’, ‘Public Choice: Procurement’, ‘Expert Choice’, ‘Public Choice: Digital Technologies’. Among the rivals of Mariupol there were Kharkiv City Council and Ukrposhta OJSC.
During the event, the participants were greeted by Maxim Nefedov, First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, Vasily Zadvornov, Director of ProZorro, and Ivan Lakhtionov, Head of Innovation Projects Program at Transparency International Ukraine.
It should be noted that Mariupol is actively working to increase the transparency, openness and accessibility of the municipality. This is evidenced by the rating of the Transparent Cities of Ukraine Transparency International. In a short period of time, the city from the 57th stage rose to the leading position. Last year, Mariupol was the first to go to the club ‘Transparent City of Ukraine’. It was marked with a plaque from the international organization Transparency International. This award is awarded to those cities that have overcome the mark of 80 points out of 100 possible.
The high result of Mariupol became possible due to the constant work on the introduction of e-democracy tools. Among them - the system ‘ProZorro’, Social Inspector, Open Budget and ‘Dozorro’. This indicator has helped the city to establish itself in front of foreign partners. Mariupol City Council has brought international relations to a new level and has attracted multimillion-dollar investments in the implementation of large-scale infrastructure projects.
