An open table has been held in Donetsk Law Institute within the framework of ‘Budget Scanner’ project. The participants were told about the mechanisms for the formation of the city budget. The project was organized by the Institute for Socio-Economic Research.
The event was attended by the students and teachers of the law institute and the representatives of public organizations. The goal of the project is to increase the knowledge and understanding of citizens in the formation of the local budget.
The organizers talked about how budget programs are being filled and executed. They also presented surveys of the population regarding knowledge of the formation of the treasury and the absorption of funds from the city budget.
