Mariupol girl becomes a prize winner of ‘Children Film Festival’

Mariupol resident Liza Kuznetsova has won  ‘Children Film Festival’. The film ‘I will give you the sea’ was the best in the category of 11-14 years. The girl received a cash award in the amount of UAH 5000.

The award took place in Kiev. According to the results of the film festival, the chief honorary jury awarded the film about bulling – ‘Forest School’, 8-year-old Anna Zusmanovskaya from Krivoy Rog.

The best film in the category of 7-10 was the film ‘One story from the cat's life’ by Valery Borodai from Poltava. The Audience Choice Award, which is awarded as a result of voting by viewers in all cities of the festival was received for  ‘Can you hear it?’ film by 11-year-old Yaroslav Bagno from Kremenchug.

Children Kinofest is an annual international festival of cinema art for children and teenagers. This year it took place for the sixth time. The competition for short films made by children from 7 to 14 years old was held for the third time.
