Today, a funeral rally has been held in the City Garden on the Day of Remembrance of the defenders of Ukraine who died in the struggle for independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of our state. Mayor Vadim Boichenko, the representatives of the municipality, regional state administration, power bloc, relatives and friends of the victims, as well as residents of the city, came to honor the memory of the Heroes.
He also turned to the relatives and friends of the fallen Heroes. The Mayor thanked for the courage and patriotism of their sons and husbands.
The rally was addressed by the adviser to the chairman of the Donetsk regional state administration Nikolay Trofimenko, acting the head of the Donetsk garrison Alexander Lutsenko and volunteers.
The memory of each defender of Ukraine was honored with a minute of silence and the launch of white doves into the sky. After the present laid flowers at the monument to the Warriors, who gave their lives for Ukraine.
