Mariupol has been celebrating Maslenitsa for a week. There is a fair in the Theater Square and a concert and entertainment program. Today, residents and visitors waited for a massive celebration.
An interesting program was prepared for the audience.Everyone could find something for themselves: contests, photo zones and bright performances of the city’s creative teams.
Within the framework of the celebration, the Mariupol Fair worked. Guests were offered to warm up with tea and taste pancakes with various fillings. It was also possible to eat meals cooked in the open kitchen.
In addition, the lively animators in traditional Ukrainian costumes offered everyone to unite in a huge round dance.
Traditionally, the holiday Maslenitsa ended with the burning of the jackstraw. This year the fire was organized by the participants of the fire show.
