In honor of Victory Day over Nazism in World War II on May 9, the events have taken place in different parts of the city. A solemn meeting was held on the Square of the Soldiers-Liberators. Hundreds of Mariupol residents came to congratulate the veterans and honor the dead.
There was a three-hour concert program on the square. The orchestra of the military unit created nostalgic musical mood. And the program completed the dynamic dances of ‘Promin’folk band.
‘Contingent’ Creative Team performed in the City Garden. The vocal band from Lubny, since the outbreak of hostilities, has visited 85 cities of Ukraine on a volunteer basis where 142 charity concerts in military units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and hospitals were given.
The orchestra of Mariupol Chamber Philharmonic pleased the audience with instrumental sound on the main stage of the City Garden.
Bright concert numbers of Mariupol team were shown by the collectives of the City Palace of Culture in ‘Veselka’ park.
