Today a delegation from Slovakia has had a working trip in Mariupol which has been led by the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, Lukasz Parizek. The guests met the Mayor of Mariupol Vadim Boichenko and the head of the Donetsk regional state administration Pavel Zhebrivskiy at the airport.
‘I am glad to welcome you to Mariupol. I hope for a fruitful cooperation,’ Vadim Boichenko greeted.
The program of the visit of the delegation from Slovakia is to visit the OSCE office, to take part in ‘Influence on security issues and social consequences of the conflict in the region’ briefing, ‘Strengthening of bilateral cooperation in the social, humanitarian and educational fields to increase the assistance to the region from the Slovak side’. Also there is a plan to visit Lebedinskiy township, a medical university and look at the construction of a social housing in Mariupol.
