The first phase of the reconstruction of "Neptune" swimming pool has already been completed. The plans are to start the second one. This will allow Mariupol to become a training base for Paralympic athletes.

“In the second stage of the reconstruction, we were allocated UAH 150 million. This will make it possible to make a warm-up pool, training areas for athletes, and gyms. Thus, we will be able to create all the necessary conditions for the professional training of swimmers of the national team,” the mayor said.

Also in the executive committee, Vadym Boichenko said that on April 1, it is planned to begin construction of an asphalt concrete plant. And on July 1, to produce the first ton of asphalt. This will double the level of production and triple the repair of kilometers of roads.

“Our task for 2022 is to repair 30 km of roads. Over time, we plan to bring this figure to 50 km. This will allow us to systematically update the road infrastructure not only in the city center, but also in all districts,” the mayor emphasized.

Among the major projects of this year is the overhaul of Mira Avenue from the overpass to Kuprina Str.
