The citizens of HOA “Mytropolytska 102” and “Big family-28” (28/ 9th Aviadivision Str.) have rest at a new playground. They believed in the city program of HOA support “Cosy courtyards” and they did not lose – modern benches, gazebos, swings and asphalted roads appeared at the building surrounding grounds. Mayor Vadym Boichenko came to sign the passport of HOA with the residents of the houses.
The citizens of 5storey building in 102 Mytropolytska Str. created HOAs in 2016.The windows were replaced, the lightning was installed in the porches and the roof was repaired. “Cosy courtyard” appeared there. The total amount of support of HOA is more than UAH 3 mln.
“I have been living in this house since 1970. During 50 years nothing was done. Due to the creation of HOA, the house was transformed. The repair works were done and the benches were set. Now we have a playground and a sports ground. Children have the place to play and develop. We plant the flowers in a team and we care about them. We have planted 48 rose bushes”, Lina Horiana is delighted.
In the condominium "Velyka Rodina - 28" there are also changes. Children ride rollerblades and skateboards on asphalted internal roads. Older residents relax in the gazebos.
Since the creation of the association, the residents, due to the city program of support for condominiums, have managed to implement a major overhaul of the roof, two mini-projects and a "Cozy yard". The total amount of support for condominiums from the city budget is more than UAH 2 million.
“HOA unites residents. They began to communicate more, to improve the territory together. They are very glad that such a project exists in our city,” the chairman Nadezhda Kupratsevich said.
Vadym Boichenko discussed pressing issues with residents. He signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with each condominium, which guarantees support in the implementation of projects.
It is worth noting that in Mariupol, almost 50% of the city's housing stock is located in condominiums. This year, more than UAH 250 million has been allocated to support them. The plans are to carry out 96 major repairs, implement 284 mini-projects and create 132 "Cozy Courtyards".
