Mariupol has become one of the Ukrainian cities that joined the IV International Symposium on Pediatrics. Doctors from Kiev, Odessa, Kharkov and Mariupol could communicate with their British, German and Lithuanian colleagues. The event was held in the format of a teleconference.
‘It is not by chance that the conference takes place on the Day of Embroidery. It is a symbol of unity and love. Thanks to the fruitful cooperation, we were able to achieve significant success in reforming medicine in our city. Today's conference will allow us to strengthen our cooperation and share experiences,’ Svetlana Makarova, director of the health department said.
A good example of changes in the health sector was the video about Child and Woman Health.
During the symposium, specialists from different countries and cities discussed the problems of pediatric gastroenterology, diabetes, enteral nutrition and the issues of vaccination of children. Doctors from Lithuania told about their achievements in perinatal programs. And experts from the UK shared their own experiences in teaching pediatricians.
