Mariupol to represent the projects within the framework of “Cultural capital of Ukraine”

On January, 4 at 12.00 the presentation of the initiatives of Mariupol with a status of “Great cultural capital of Ukraine 2021” will be held. The Minister of culture and informational politics, Oleksandr Tkachenko, Mayor Vadym Boichenko and executive director of Ukrainian cultural fond Julia Fediv, will take part in the event.

The event will be broadcasted on the site and You-Tube channel of Ukrinform. Within the framework of the program, the presentation of the initiatives of Slavutych that got the status of “Small cultural capital of Ukraine”.

It is worth noting, in 2019 Mariupol got the status of “Great cultural capital”. The city must realize the projects during 2020, but because of the epidemics of COVID-19, all the events were carried over for 2021.
