Mariupol shares its experience in procurement with Moldova

As part of the exchange of experience, the Mariupol specialists presented their successful experience in the field of procurement. Chisinau will use Mariupol's best practices to develop a roadmap for transforming the procurement function, as well as to increase transparency and accountability.

The visit of representatives of Mariupol city council to the capital of Moldova took place in the framework of cooperation with the Open Contracting Partnership. The head of the tender department, Andrii Ihnatov, spoke about the successful experience of the city in the implementation of an electronic procurement system. Director of the Department for Security and Corruption Prevention Hrigory Berezun - on the introduction of a security mechanism and anti-corruption.

“During the two-day seminar, we managed to show how Mariupol became the most transparent and open city in Ukraine. We shared our own experience and outlined ways to improve Chisinau in the area of ​​procurement, ” Andrii Ihnatov said.

He noted the successful procurement that attracted international investment, in particular, for the city water supply project, the purchase of new transport and the reconstruction of the outdoor lighting system.
