Mariupol has initiated a dialogue with business and showed itself as a promising city for investment. To this end, a working meeting with representatives of the Board business community was held in Mariupol. It includes more than 700 entrepreneurs in various fields. Some are already working in our city.
‘The negotiations resulted in a serious investment proposal for more than $ 10 million from a Ukrainian company. Its implementation will create an additional 100 jobs in the city,’ Mayor Vadym Boichenko said.
It is also important that the world famous McDonald's brand has returned to Mariupol. This is an indicator that large companies are not afraid to invest in the city that means that Mariupol is developing in the right direction. This was preceded by a great many years of work - the development of the strategy, effective management of the local budget, cooperation with international partners and obtaining the status of the most transparent city in Ukraine.
‘Today we are at the beginning of a new path. We open Mariupol to investors, businesses that are ready to develop the city, create jobs and opportunities for residents. I am sure that every next step will be easier and global brands will enter Mariupol, which our residents are waiting for’, Vadym Boichenko said.
Each new company means new opportunities, jobs for Mariupol residents and an increase in the level of comfort for residents. Due to the investments in Mariupol, municipal transport has been updated, street lighting is being changed to modern ones, a project is being developed to build factories for water purification and waste processing.
