The Open Book festival, robots, segways, e-sports competitions, food courts, excursions and locations for children. This year Mariupol celebrates City Day innovatively, because our city has a future. Theater Square has already gathered thousands of Mariupol residents. Together with the residents, Mariupol's birthday was celebrated by Mayor Vadim Boichenko and Ukrainian People’s Deputy Vadim Novinskiy.
The Open Book festival showed the news of more than ten publishers near ‘Vezha’ cultural and tourist center. Half a ton of books were brought to Mariupol. For visitors, they also prepared meetings with writers, presentations and networking. Vadim Boichenko got acquainted with the work of locations.The event was organized by the city council in partnership with the Franco-German Morris Column project.
In Mira Avenue there is a food court in the center. Everyone can enjoy the goodies and drink hot tea or coffee.The artists are preparing for a performance who will donate their compositions to Mariupol residents in the evening on the main stage at the Theater Square.

There is the construction of the Ice Arena and water park, the reconstruction of socially important objects and the transformation of houses into modern institutions.
The Mayor noted that the city is changing every day. The confirmation of this is the implementation of large-scale projects.
