Deputy Mayor Ksenia Sukhova has held a personal reception of the citizens. Mariupol residents asked for help in resolving issues related to housing, pensions and health care.
In particular, a resettler turned to Ksenia Sukhova. She asked for help with retirement benefits for her mother and she asked to solve the housing problem.
Deputy Mayor and Director of the Department of Social Protection of the Population Andrei Rempel advised the woman on her concerns.
‘Mariupol is a city of solidarity. We do not divide residents into Mariupol citizens and the resettlers. Our task is to do everything necessary for the integration of “new Mariupol citizens”. So that you feel like a part of a single Mariupol family,’ Ksenia Sukhova noted.
It is worth noting that the city government is working to solve the key problems of the resettlers. Housing is among those issues. Thus, in Mariupol, the first Ukrainian social hostel is open. At the expense of the city and state budgets, two houses for social housing were reconstructed.
During the reception, all questions were studied in details. Structural subdivisions are given relevant instructions.
