The Cabinet has proposed to the deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to ratify the Framework Agreement between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of the French Republic regarding the official support of the project on water supply of drinking water in the city of Mariupol.
This is stated in the text of the order number 151-p dated March 13, 2019.
It is worth noting that the water supply project will solve the issue of safe and quality water supply of the half-million city. This became possible due to the support of the Government of Ukraine.
The agreement provides the allocation of EUR 64 million by French government to support the investment project with the participation of Mariupol city council.
According to the document, France will provide funds that will "cover" 100% of the project. Thus, 70% of the goods and services are purchased by the French side, and 30% - Ukrainian or foreign goods. Besides, the loan includes EUR 1.2 million for project management assistance.
