At the Theater Square there has been an artistic plein air. Mariupol artists and amateurs took part in depicting architectural objects in natural light. The master from Berlin, Alan Meyer told about the intricacies of industrial art. The event took place within the framework of the ‘Post-Bridge’ project, which is being implemented due to the ‘Public Budget’.

The participants of the art flashmob painted in the open air, overlooking the urban landscape. The created paintings will be part of the exhibition of ‘Post – Bridge’ art project. It will open on June 15 at 16:00, in the lobby of the Port City shopping and entertainment center. The exhibition will be attended by 12 artists. The works will be demonstrated by well-known Mariupol photo artists. A dynamic video installation will be presented.

According to Alan Meier, urbanism, as a direction in painting, has a long history of becoming in Europe.

‘When I arrived in Ukraine, I felt a lack of space where artists can exchange experiences. Create, for the sake of creativity, and not benefits. Show your skills and talent. In order to develop art, I became a participant in the industrial exhibition in Mariupol,’ Alan Mayer emphasized.

A German artist has been implementing integration projects in Ukraine for about three years. One of them is ‘Diffusion’. Within the framework of the exhibition, the artists from Berlin repeatedly came to Kramatorsk for master classes in painting.

The participant of the open-air, Mariupol artist, Ekaterina Karaben-Fortune told about the devoted love for industrial painting after the first excursion to the industrial enterprise of the city.

‘Then I saw the world in a new way. Every bolt, pipe, brick in my head is a grain of a single whole. The basis of urban landscapes is created by a man. And it inspires’, the artist concluded.
