Two more French ventilators have been donated today by Rinat Akhmetov Charitable Foundation to the Mariupol Ambulance Hospital. The new equipment will be a reliable help for medical staff in the fight against COVID-19.

‘We are glad that the city has reliable partners in the fight against the pandemic. We have developed clear algorithms for treating and controlling the spread of the disease. Today we see the result. In Mariupol, more than 90 percent of patients were treated. This is the merit of our doctors. Due to the timely support of Rinat Akhmetov Foundation, a PCR laboratory, rapid tests and personal protective equipment for physicians have appeared in the city. All this is aimed at preserving the most valuable thing - the life and health of Mariupol residents,’ Ksenia Sukhova said.

In turn, the director of personnel and administration of "Azovstal" Konstantin Voitsekhovskiy expressed gratitude to doctors who stand on the front of fight against a disease.

‘Since the beginning of the coronavirus in Ukraine, Rinat Akhmetov Foundation has accumulated its resources to provide assistance. In total, he purchased 200 ventilators, thousands of rapid tests and PCR laboratories. All this in order to protect the health of Ukrainians and resist the spread of coronavirus,’ he said.

Monnal T75 is a new generation ventilator for invasive and non-invasive ventilation of adults and children. It has sound and visual alarms, wide patient monitoring functionality, the ability to work autonomously for three hours.

Adviser to the governor of the Donetsk regional state administration Mykola Trofimenko noted that the city managed to minimize the risk of uncontrolled spread of the infection. And the timely help of partners once again reminded that any effort can be overcome by joining forces.

In addition to ventilators, doctors were given gift packages from the Foundation with sets of medical clothing. They were tailor-made to doctors working with COVID-19.

It is worth noting that in June Mariupol has already received two ventilators as a gift from Rinat Akhmetov Charitable Foundation.
