Rinat Akhmetov gives five modern lung ventilators to the city hospital

Today five modern lung ventilators have been given to the city hospital №4. The supplies were held within the framework of realization of the program of Rinat Akhmetov Charity Fund. The deputy mayor Ksenia Sukhova appreciated Rinat Akhmetov Fund for the help to the city.

“Rinat Akhmetov Fund has been giving the systematic help since the first days of pandemic.The support and unity in the fight against pandemic are given in good time. Due to modern equipment, our doctors will be able to save the health and lives of Mariupol residents. I appreciate our partners who help Mariupol to be provided with all the necessary things in the fight off the illness”, Ksenia Sukhova.

The advisor of the governor of Donetsk regional state administration Mykola Trofimenko and the director of Mariupol city council №4 Volodymyr Zhygil gathered to the words of appreciation.

The lung ventilators are equipped with artificial intellect that allows to determine necessary dose of oxygen to the patient automatically. According to the head of intensive therapy for children with infectious pathology Anatoiy Kuzmitch, such kind of high technology equipment increase the chance of the patients for successful result.

“Effective usage and functioning of the medical intensive care unit is impossible without modern diagnostic and treatment equipment. The equipment of lung ventilators give us an unvalued help. They help to support vital force of the patients”, the doctor said.

The representative of Metinvest Group Kostiantyn Voitsekhovsky stressed that Rinat Akhmetov Fund has been doing all the necessary things since the start of the pandemic to help state hospitals. In February, UAH 300 mln have been allocated for the struggle against coronavirus. 160 lung ventilators have been given to the medical establishments of Ukraine, 10 of them are from Mariupol.

 “On behalf of Rinat Akhmetov Fund, I want to appreciate medical workers for professionalism and work. I also appreciate you for everything you do in these not easy living conditions. I am sure that together we can struggle off the pandemic”, Kostiantyn Voitsekhovsky stressed.
